BIO
Sara Sallam [1991] is an Egyptian multidisciplinary artist, designer, and researcher based in the Netherlands. She works  with photography, video, text, and archive material. Themes of absence and loss run throughout her multilayered projects in which she often explores ways of visualising things we cannot see and people we cannot meet. Sara has exhibited internationally and was awarded grants from Magnum Foundation and Mophradat. Her work was shortlisted in Lang-Taylor Prize, Kassel Photobook Award, and Magnum Foundation Fund.
